I am a multidisciplinary artist working across painting, collage, wearable objects, installation, and artist books. My work is rooted in emotion, rhythm, and memory—often beginning with something small: a fragment of color, a found object, or a feeling that won’t let go. I build intuitively, layering pieces together until they begin to form their own logic, mood, and language. I’m drawn to the imperfect, the improvised, and the spaces in between.

Dance has always been part of my language. I started in childhood, majored in dance in Taiwan, and continued dancing throughout my years in New York while studying fashion and accessories design. Living in the city also opened my eyes to visual rhythm in a different way—through storefronts, restaurants, window displays, and the incredible architecture that surrounded me. I became fascinated by how spaces are designed to make people feel something, and that curiosity naturally spilled into how I compose both images and installations. Dance taught me how to feel time through the body. Design sharpened my attention to material, structure, and emotion. These threads—movement, space, form—have slowly braided themselves into the way I create.

While in New York, I also discovered a deep love for art journaling, collage, mail art, and the textures of old books. These were creative forms that existed outside of rules—intimate, tactile, and deeply expressive. I began filling sketchbooks with layered thoughts and found materials, slowly developing a visual voice that was more personal and instinctive. That exploration laid the groundwork for the zine and artist book practice I’ve continued to grow.

In all my work, I’m drawn to the intersection of structure and spontaneity, softness and strength, emotional intuition and thoughtful form. Whether I’m creating a portrait, assembling a collage, or making a book by hand, I’m always searching for the moment when something invisible becomes felt—when texture, image, and rhythm come together to hold a piece of something true.
